ERP Developer

Job Objectives:

To design, develop, integrate, and maintain a new organization-wide ERP platform from the ground up, covering all key business functions including HR, Finance, Fleet Management, Civil Project Management, Procurement, Tender Management, Planning, and Mess Monitoring, ensuring a scalable, secure, and user-friendly system that supports the organization's operational efficiency and growth.

Responsibilities and Duties:

▪    Design and develop the ERP system architecture from the ground up based on organizational business requirements.
▪    Convert business requirements into scalable, efficient, and user-friendly software solutions.
▪    Develop all ERP modules including HR, Payroll, Finance, Fleet, Civil Project Management, Tender Management, Procurement, Planning, Inventory, and Mess Monitoring.
▪    Design and develop frontend interfaces, backend logic, REST APIs, and database structures.
▪    Develop secure REST APIs and integrate with third-party systems and platforms.
▪    Implement workflow-based approval systems, notifications, and escalation mechanisms.
▪    Implement role-based access control, user permission management, and audit trails.
▪    Design and develop management dashboards, MIS reports, and business intelligence views.
▪    Optimize database performance, application speed, and system reliability.
▪    Ensure ERP system security, scalability, maintainability, and data integrity.
▪    Work directly with management and department teams to understand and document business processes.
▪    Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and ongoing system maintenance and enhancements.
▪    Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and development standards.
▪    Manage version control using Git and follow software development best practices.

Qualifications:

B.Tech / B.E. / MCA / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certification in relevant technologies (Full Stack, Cloud, ERP) is an added advantage.

Years of Experience:

6 to 8 Years of professional software/ERP development experience, with proven experience in developing full-scale enterprise applications or ERP systems from scratch

Person Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software/ERP development experience.
• Strong Full Stack Development experience (frontend and backend).
• Strong database knowledge: MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience designing scalable enterprise-level applications.
• Strong understanding of ERP architecture and business process workflows.
• Experience with Git and version control best practices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure.
• Understanding of application security, data protection, and access control.
• Preferred: ERP development from scratch, Construction/Civil ERP, Fleet Management systems, Tender Management systems, HRMS/Payroll, Inventory Management, MIS & BI dashboards, API and third-party integrations, Mobile application integration.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the ERP development lifecycle.
